Welcome to MomCooks!

Hello, and welcome to MomCooks, my brand-new baby blog! I am Elizabeth, you may know me from my blog Table for Five. I also have another blog, MomReviews. When I’m not parenting or reviewing, I like to cook! I thought it would be fun to start a cooking blog to post my family’s favorite recipes, talk about cookbooks, cooking techniques, meal plans, shopping lists, grocery shopping, all that fun, food-related stuff!

I’d like to start a feature on the sidebar called “Guest Chef”, where you, my dear reader, send me YOUR favorite recipe, which I will put on a separate page along with some information about you, your family, whatever you’d like to talk about. I hope to have a new Guest Chef every week.

I hope you enjoy MomCooks and if you do, please feel free to add me to your blogroll, Technorati favorites, or RSS readers. Let me know if you do so I can reciprocate. Let’s get cooking!

  • Nice blog! I got you RSS feed now. :) I love the layout, nice colors.

  • Cool site! I’m so glad you put it in T45. I have tons of “family fave’s” I can share, plus some that are just yummy but a bit spicy so we don’t share them with the kids.

    Adding this to google now…

  • Cool website. Quick question.

I’m a beginner cook… well I shouldn’t even use the title cook. I can basically make things out of bags and boxes by following the directions.

But, my partner bought a lot of chicken, he loves that chicken. I was wondering if you could post a recipe on some good bbq chicken? How to make it… maybe with pictures? See… I have no idea how any of this works, lol.

Maybe an entry with step by step instructions with illustrations for us newbie wannabe cooks?
