Slow-Cooked Pork Chops
By Elizabeth | May 18, 2007
This is the easiest recipe ever for pork chops! You only need three ingredients-pork chops, chicken broth, and onion soup mix.
3 pounds bone-in pork loin chops
1 cup chicken broth
1 packet dry onion soup mix
Step One: Assemble your ingredients. Also shown is the cooking spray I used on the bottom of the crockpot to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
Step Two: Place the meat in the crock pot.
Step Three: Pour on the mixed-together chicken broth and soup mix.
Step Four: Cook on Low setting for six to eight hours. This cooked for six:
The reason it’s in a storage container is that I had to run out and get something at Rite Aid, and when I got back, Chris and Kaitlyn had already eaten two of them and packed them in the fridge! The boys were having pizza as they do every Friday.
Chris’ report is that the pork was tender, and had a good onion flavor. Success!
