Look! A new theme! What do you think?

By Elizabeth | September 1, 2007

Okay, all of you that visit this blog, according to MyBlogLog, BlogCatalog, and BumpZee! I know you come here, so what I want to ask is, why don’t you comment? Am I really that boring? *sniff* It’s okay, you can tell me the truth, I can take it (sniff).

I uploaded a new theme called “Rockin’ Ruby”, do you like it? A friend of mine suggested it to me and thought it would be perfect for this blog because of the plants in the window image, like how some people put plants on their kitchen windowsill. I think she’s right!

I know I don’t update very often but I also have three kids and two other blogs. I really DO appreciate all of you who come here, even if you don’t comment, and I REALLY appreciate those of you who DO comment! Big smooches and fresh cookies for all of you! LOL

Tonight for dinner I made my Creamy Italian Noodles, plus I warmed up already-grilled chicken breasts that I bought at Wal-Mart. They weren’t too bad for formed chicken, especially dipped in Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce-YUM. You can find the Creamy Italian Noodles recipe by clicking the Pasta Category in my sidebar. You’ll love them, I promise!

I like the theme. My first thought was kitchen windowsill - before you even explained it.

Dana-Thanks! I liked the other theme too, but the sidebar graphics were coded weird, so the widgets never quite lined up, and it loaded slowly. I think this one is cleaner to look at, too. But I’ll probably get bored and change it one day, knowing me ;)

Charlotte-Thanks! Did you notice I have the BlogFollow plugin activated, so when you leave a comment, we get an excerpt from your latest post? Only problem is it isn’t WP 2.2 compatible, so now I don’t know if I should upgrade this blog or not!

Anna-I wouldn’t have thought of it for a cooking blog until my friend suggested it, but now I think it’s perfect!

I love it! Colorful and sophisticated. I’m a fairly new reader and haven’t commented before but, watch out!, I am famous for commenting. :)

I love your theme; very bright, cheerful and easy to read and locate information. Can’t compare with your previous theme as this is my first visit here.

Traveller-I’m so glad you like the theme! I’m glad to hear you call it “cheerful and easy to read”-that’s what a blog should be, don’t you think? :) Stop by again soon!

I like the color combo. If you ever want to keep the theme and have a new header phot, just let me know and I will hook you up.
