I make my own Lunchables ALL the time! The boys want them, but don't eat the cheese or crackers that come with them -- or the drink or the dessert -- so basically I'm paying for 5 slices of substandard deli meat!

I don't save the containers (when I do get them) but I use the take and toss containers -- the small ones -- when I send them in with Josh for lunch. He has a habit of throwing away either the tops or the bottoms of the containers so I don't want to spend a fortune on the rubbermaid ones.

Anyway -- it's a great idea! It's a good way to introduce some "healthier" options too - I usually add a few baby carrots or some apple smiles or some grapes when I send them with Josh.
