Four Foods on Friday
I’m finally remembering to join in on the Four Foods on Friday meme!
Questions:
#1. Steak. Plain, steak sauce, hot sauce, ketchup or something else?
#2. Water. Flavored, plain, carbonated. How do you like it?
#3. What’s your favorite kind of waffle?
#4. If you could have any one new small appliance for your kitchen what would it be and why?
Answers:
#1- I am not a fan of steak, but if I went somewhere and it was served to me, I’d ask for A-1.
#2- I’m also not a fan of water! I don’t mind drinking it plain as long as it’s cold. I also like the flavored waters sold at Sam’s Club, especially the raspberry.
#3- A local restaurant serves a Belgian Waffle topped with whole strawberries in syrup and ringed with whipped cream. When I was pregnant with Kaitlyn I CRAVED it!
#4- A Kitchen Aid mixer. I love to bake, and it would be so great to be able to cream butter and sugar and then mix in dry ingredients without my arm feeling like it’s going to fall off.

Yum, that waffle sounds delicious! Might have to have those for breakfast, at least, my home made version of it. :-D
I want a stand mixer, too. There’s just me in the house now, but I enjoy cooking and baking for others. A good mixer would make it so much easier!

I’m not crazy about steaks either, but I did have one I really liked on a Casino Riverboat in Council Bluff Iowa-they were really good.
I’ll agree with everyone else, waffles are one of the two or three good things in life.

Ever since we started “making” our own water using a reverse osmosis process, I am a huge fan of water. I have a hard time with a lot of the commercial bottled water, though. It is nowhere as good as the stuff we make here at home.
