Four Foods on Friday-Popcorn and Movies

This week’s questions from Val at Fun, Crafts and Recipes all have to do with the movies. Which makes me really want to GO to the movies! Here are my answers, you can see more by visiting Val’s Four Foods on Friday #32 post.

#1. What snacks do you eat at the movies? Do you buy them there or bring your own?
#2. What’s your favorite food movie, or movie that shows a lot of food?
#3. What food or meal do you wish was available at the movies and why?
#4. What’s your most favorite way to make popcorn? Hot, cold, buttered, air, microwave, chocolate, caramel, you get it.

#1. I eat popcorn at the movies along with a fountain Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi if that’s all they have. I buy them both there. We also take snack-size Ziploc bags and a handful of quarters for the candy machines, and I buy 50 cents’ worth of Peanut M&Ms, which is about 11 of them and just right.

#2. My second favorite movie of all time is “When Harry Met Sally”. I love how Sally orders her food so carefully! “Chef salad, dressing on the side, apple pie a la mode with ice cream, but only put the ice cream on top if the pie is hot, otherwise ice cream on the side and whipped cream on the pie, and I’d like the ice cream to be strawberry, and if not strawberry, then no ice cream and the pie hot”. HA!

#3. On a really hot day, a waffle cone of Baskin Robbins’ Rocky Road ice cream would be nice :)

#4. I buy microwave popcorn, whatever’s on sale. I buy butter flavor for the boys and the 94% fat free kind for me.

Okay, now I want popcorn SO BADLY! thanks, Val :P
