No-Menu Monday

I know that I should be planning out our week’s meals so I can shop with a list, and save money, and save time in the kitchen, and all that stuff, but I am so crazy busy with posts and product reviews right now that I just can’t think that far ahead! This afternoon, I put frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts into the crockpot and doused them with about half a bottle of Zesty Italian salad dressing, put the cover on, turned it to high, and left it alone for about five hours. The chicken was very tender, I cut mine with my fork, but it needed more seasoning. It was still good though, and there are leftovers for lunch or dinner tomorrow too. I served it with steamed peas and McCain’s sweet potato fries, which I LOVE but neither my husband, Nathan, nor Kaitlyn would eat them! More for me!

So what are YOU making for dinner this week?

  • For a quick meal i just like to grab tin foil place some hard veggies zucchini, eggplant, carrot you get the picture, and a nice fillet of fish. ADD in olive oil salt/pepper/herbs, and put in some wine/stock. Wrap it up like a bag and toss it in oven do whatever you want for awhile and then eat ;D

  • I pulled some cooked turkey out of the freezer this week, so I’ve been using that. Monday night I made something with Rice-a-Roni and broccoli, and last night we had scrambled eggs with onions, peppers, turkey and cheese.

    Tonight I have no clue.
