Four Foods on Friday-The Appetizers Edition

This week’s Four Foods on Friday questions are all about appetizers.

#1. What is your favorite appetizer?
#2. Do you eat enough appetizers that you get full and can’t eat your meal?
#3. Do you usually make frozen or fresh appetizers?
#4. Share a recipe or instructions for an appetizer.

#1. My favorite appetizer to order at restaurants is mozzarella sticks. As for at home-well, if I’m serving Easter or Thanksgiving dinner, I’ll put out veggies and chips and dip beforehand, but I don’t think that counts :)

#2. No, I save room for my dinner!

#3. If I were to need to serve “finger foods”, like little meatballs or cocktail sausages or something like that, I would buy them frozen.

#4. Well, the dip I use when I serve a veggie tray and chips is this:

One packet Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix
One 16 ounce container of sour cream (I like Daisy brand)

Dump out the sour cream into a large bowl, stir if it’s watery. Pour on the dip mix, stir well until it’s all combined. Spoon it back into the sour cream container, put the lid back on, and put it in the fridge for at least an hour so it can chill well for the flavors to blend. Everyone loves it!
