Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds-a snack that ROCKS!

Emerald Cocoa Roast AlmondsA one ounce serving of Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds has 150 calories, 3 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein, and 13 grams of heart-healthy fats, and best of all, they are DELICIOUS. The canister fits in a car cup holder, the lid screws on and off easily to keep the freshness sealed in, the lid also is the exact size of a one ounce serving, AND, the nuts are roasted with cocoa powder INSIDE, so there’s no mess on your fingers! In short, they are the perfect way to satisfy a chocolate snack attack!

I read a whole bunch of consumer reviews on Amazon.com, and many people wrote that they didn’t think these were chocolatey enough, or that they tasted “bitter”. Cocoa powder does have a more bitter taste than milk chocolate, so these are not going to taste like chocolate-covered almonds. It’s more like the taste of good dark chocolate. Also, the nuts are not coated with salt like most roasted almonds are, so basically, if you like plain or “natural” roast almonds, and the taste of dark chocolate, you will probably like Emerald Cocoa Roast!

There’s only one problem-they are impossible to FIND. Emerald partnered up with Amazon for the sales, but the page for Cocoa Roast says they are not available yet. I don’t know if Emerald just wanted to send out some samples and see the reactions before releasing them to the general market or what, but all I can tell you is, keep watching the Amazon page for Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds, so that you can try them for yourself once they are available!
