It’s been in the high 70s for the last two weeks here in mid-Michigan, which means that we can still use our outdoor barbeque grill to cook dinner. Chris and I have a friend that uses his grill year-round, even in the snow! We aren’t quite that attached, but we do enjoy the taste of food cooked outside. Even just simple hot dogs and hamburgers taste so good cooked over a grill. To celebrate the end of summer, iBuyBarbeques is having a barbeque recipe contest with a $400.00 Grand Prize! How to Enter:

That’s a pretty easy contest! So, a barbeque recipe. Hmmm…we really only use ours for hamburgers and hot dogs, but here’s a recipe I’d like to try for marinated grilled chicken-

INGREDIENTS

* 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* 1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
* 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
* salt to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place in a shallow glass bowl and pour 1/2 bottle of salad dressing over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
2. Lightly oil grill and preheat to medium high.
3. Remove chicken breasts from marinade. Season with lemon pepper and salt to taste. Grill over medium high heat for 10 to 15 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
