Even though gas prices are coming down, food prices definitely are not. You want to feed your family quality meals that don’t sacrifice taste, but also don’t break the bank. Prego understands that it can be hard to make delicious and nutritious meals at home on a budget, but with their variety of Italian Sauces a tasty meal is never hard to come by. Replacing one restaurant trip per month with a homemade pasta and sauce meal can save hundreds of dollars per year. For example, for a family of four to eat at a restaurant could easily cost $50, but a complete pasta and sauce meal can be as low as $10. $40 savings x 12 months = $480. How would you spend an additional $480 this year?
Thanks to M80 and Prego, I received the Prego Value Pack, which contains all the items you need to make a meal that feeds four people. It came with a bag of dried pasta, a jar of Prego sauce, a can of green beans, and a small can of grated Parmesan cheese. We ended up not using all of the sauce and only about half the Parmesan, so the actual cost of this meal was definitely less than $10. Although, I did serve it with garlic bread I had in the freezer, if I had to purchase it, that would have brought the price up to around $10. Here’s a recipe for Prego Easy Chicken Cacciatore:

Doesn’t that look good? Well, I’ve run out of room in this post so I’ll have to keep you in suspense, but just WAIT until you see what I made using Prego sauces. You will love it, I promise! Thanks again to M80 and Prego for sending me the Prego Value Pack, too!
