I’ve decided that for now, I’m not going to be doing Menu Monday, because my husband gets paid on Wednesdays, so I plan our new menus to start then. It just makes more sense for me to plan from Wednesday to Tuesday!
For this week’s meals, I’m using some new recipes that I picked up on my trip to Campbell’s Kitchen. They gave us a Swanson broth recipe book as well as a Slow Cooker book that uses Campbell’s products like the broths and the canned soups (and two other really awesome cookbooks that I can’t wait to dive into!).
I’m also using two jars of new Dei Fratelli Spaghetti Sauce that I got for review for tonight’s dinner, I’ll combine it with browned italian sausage and onions and canned stewed tomatoes and we’ll eat it over thin spaghetti. It’s my favorite dinner!
Wednesday: Spaghetti Sauce with Italian Sausage over thin spaghetti noodles, with garlic toast and steamed peas
Thursday: Quick & Creamy Chicken Stew- from KraftFoods.com, with steamed carrots and dinner rolls
Friday: Pizza Night
Saturday: Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast from Campbell’s Kitchen. I’ll take their suggestion and serve it with biscuits and steamed broccoli
Sunday: Leftovers
Monday: um…
Tuesday: not sure yet…
What are you making?

Hey! Nice new site design :)
I haven’t decided what will be for dinner this week yet either – tomorrow might be baked chicken & whole grain rice w/veggies. I still haven’t gotten into that menu planning habit yet :)

I like this kind of reading,
thanks for your blog,my rss reader like it :)
Thanks for sharing your information on what you are cooking. As a bachelor I find it hard to eat right or at least plan ahead. So what I am cooking this week is a huge batch of spaghetti and hoping that will last me at least till Saturday. Then its shrimp pasta pomodora, and pot roast!
I appreciate your information, considering I am a bachelor it is sometimes hard to cook for one. I am always looking for great ideas and I know I need to plan better!
Does anybody know about a great cookbook for crock pot recipes? Thanks

You have no idea how much I like to try the spaghetti noodles with the Italian sausage, with garlic toast and steamed peas. Definitely my next meal for next week.
