Last night she went shopping for foods on the plan and this morning she measured her breakfast foods to make 350 calories. It looked like this:
One and one-half cups Multi-Grain Cheerios
One-half cup fresh blueberries
3/4 cup 1% milk
Coffee with 1/4 cup 1% milk and 2 tablespoons fat-free French Vanilla Coffeemate

MomCooks is stuffed.

Lynette- Multi Grain Cheerios are so good! I’m picky about blueberries though, and fresh ones are like 3 dollars for 6 ounces, which kind of hurts the budget. But if I’ll be this full at every meal, this Alli plan just might work!
I’d suggest that you avoid coffee, (perhaps decaff is okay)… it will stimulate your body, your appetite, and your consumption! Stick to decaff or vegetable juice!

Cut to half/half or lower caff coffee. It will taste the same, have a kick, and lessen your glycemic index.

I tried to post but not sure if it went through. I haven’t been able to give up coffee but one habit that really changed my life was to eat 1 bowl of raisin bran everyday. I lost weight and have a ton more energy. FYI

My wife tried alli. Unfortunately; the supplement has a very unappealing side effect (you probably know what I’m referring to) that she could not deal with. So she had to give it up. Best of luck to you though. :-)
I also tried the alli diet few months ago and the side effects like gas with oily spotty – sorry to be graphic – is too much for me. Well in fairness, I did cheat on my diet but the side effects and depriving myself were too much for me.
I wonder for how long are you going to survive in that? You can loose wait just following the plan, without taking the pills + exercise. I understand that some can not afford exercises, but it is a vital part of the plan. Don’t listen to anyone who forbids you drinking coffee, you can, but one cup per day.1500 calorie diet + 1 hour of exercises in the gym (3times per week)made me loose 33 pounds in one year.It was in 2005 and i still enjoy the results.
Best luck with the alli diet! I tried it but broke up after about 3 weeks. Same reason as Zoe.

The most important is, of course, to eat regularly and in smaller amounts.
The best book i got was Michael Thurman’s book about teaching you how to eat and it comes to small meals and 10 glasses of water a day it works and it has a blue print for any body type .All this time i was eating the wrong way, i was not able to have a normal meal every day at the same time tha ti very important if you follow his step you will lose weigh without starving
if they are natural like salad or fruits i love to take high calories as i am sportsman but hate them if they are like supplements sold out in shop which has lot of chemicals mixed.
