You might think it’s a burger with cheese, but if you ask the Wisconson Milk Marketing Board, there’s a REASON that it’s called a cheeseburger and not a burger-with-cheese. The cheese makes the cheeseburger what it is!
On their new microsite Cheese and Burger, the WMMB has 30 burger “concepts” in a format that is so unique, I’ve been twittering it and sending the link to friends. Go to http://cheeseandburger.com. Click “View Burgers”. Use the “wheel” on the right side to scroll through the burgers. Stop on any one. Wait for it…yes. That is the voice of Patrick Warburton. Click the “Cheese” tab. Yep, that’s him too. His delivery is sheer brilliance.
The burgers are pretty brilliant too, I have to admit we’ve been stuck in a “burger rut”, making ours the same way for a long time. Looking to shake up the usual “it’s burgers for dinner”? Try these:
• The Mamma Mia- for the not-so-closeted ABBA lover: Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Sauteed Mushrooms, Pizza Sauce and Onions on a Crusty Italian Loaf.
• The Highwayman- when a Knapsack and a thumb are all you need: Brick Cheese, Cheddar, Ham, Fried Egg, Onion Rings and BBQ Sauce on a Toasted Knot Bun.
To help spread the word about the Cheese and Burger site, the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is letting me give away four t shirts that read “Cheese & Burger Society”. They look like this:
Awesome. So, if you’d like to win one of five Men’s or Women’s size Large Cheese & Burger Society t-shirts, here’s how to enter:

My favorite burger recipe from CheeseandBurger.com ARE The Rhinelander, The Miss Daisy, The Gypsy & The Boss. I will take one of each please! Now I am STARVING!!!
Wow! These all sound amazing! So far My favorite burger recipe from CheeseandBurger.com Is the Aunt Millie – but that Miss Daisy looks good too – and actually I haven’t looked at ALL of them yet because I’m too busy drooling.
I really would love to support Wisconsin Cheese – seeing as I live in Wisconsin, and my husband works for a dairy, though he’s not part of the cheese side of the business.

My favorite burger recipe from CheeseandBurger.com is the Miss Daisy, because of all that brie and buttery grilled bread.

The Havana, the Isabella and the Pioneer look really tasty to me and I would love to taste them at least once. Moe over other burger also seems to be out of this world.
