We’re on a tight budget this week due to a bunch of bills that need paying, so I’m going to be shopping at Aldi this week. There’s a website called E-mealz that only costs $1.25 a week where you get a 7 day meal plan and a shopping list every Tuesday. I signed up for the Aldi meal plan, so that I know everything on it will use ingredients available at Aldi. I’m not an affilliate or anything, but I highly suggest you check out E-mealz and the sample menu plans for Walmart, Kroger, Publix, Ralphs, and many more.
Not everything on my menu plan for this week is from the Aldi E-mealz menu because I knew my family wouldn’t like some of the choices. I’m pretty sure I can get everything I need there anyway, though. Here’s what I’m planning to make this week:
Monday: Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Casserole with Mexican Rice and refried beans
Tuesday: Mini Meatloaves, Au Gratin Potatoes, Tossed Salad
Wednesday: Easy Salsa Chili, jiffy mix corn muffins, sliced apples
Thursday: Sizzled Chicken Schnitzel (from the Desperation Dinners cookbook), garlic mashed potatoes, steamed green beans
Friday: Pizza night
Saturday: Leftovers
Sunday: All-American Burgers with oven fries and salad.
