A PR rep for Nestle that I work with regularly (hi Faith!) sent me this recipe from Nestle Kitchens and it looks so good, I had to post it here! It sounds like it would taste similar to an Orange Julius. This is the recipe description:
Make fresh squeezed orange juice the star of your morning routine with the addition of all-natural vanilla coffee creamer and sun-ripened bananas. This frothy concoction makes for a perfect morning pick-me-up.
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup Vanilla Flavor NESTLÉ COFFEE-MATE NATURAL BLISS All-Natural Low Fat Coffee Creamer
1/2 frozen or room temperature banana
1/2 cup ice cubes
Directions:
PLACE orange juice, Coffee-mate, banana and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Have you ever used coffee creamer in a smoothie? What do you think of this recipe?

Never would I think of putting coffee creamer in orange juice, but I flipped this recipe through the ‘ol blender this morning. It’s a winner, yum!

Very interesting. I will be trying. I remember those icy Orange Julius drinks in the summer time.
I usually don’t even buy coffee creamer at the market (I get my coffee at the office), but I bought some to try this drink out. I must say, this was extremely refreshing in the morning! Very easy recipe for me to make, too, because I cheated and used store-bought OJ.
