Four Foods on Friday 66

This week’s questions are about your kitchen utensils, dishes, and an easy recipe. Here we go!

#1. Are your Kitchen utensils nylon, silicone, wood or other?

I use an ancient set of black nylon utensils that I bought in a set at Target.  I do really love my silicone spatula that Food buzz sent me [...]

Try my Country Bob’s Burgers!

I didn’t think it was possible to improve on the All-American Burgers recipe that I usually use, but the last time I made them, I discovered we were out of a key ingredient, Worcestershire sauce. I needed something that would provide moisture and flavor, so I used Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce instead. You can [...]

Sweet ‘n’ Tangy Pot Roast

I saw this recipe linked on I’m an Organizing Junkie‘s Menu Monday post for last week, and after clicking through to read the recipe, it sounded so good I decided to make it today.  It’s in the crockpot right now, so I’ll have to post again to let you know how it turned out!  The [...]

Meal [...]

Menu Monday July 14, 2008

This week’s meals are easy ones since I am leaving for BlogHer on Thursday. I’m also making recipes with 6-8 servings for my increasingly more hungry boys, you can always halve them to fit your family. I included the Goulash recipe at the end of the post!

Monday: Creamy Chicken and Noodles, steamed carrots, [...]

Mmm, Cheeseburger!

I made this with preformed burger patties that were on sale at Meijer, but seasoned them with Mrs. Dash Steak Seasoning which I received for a product review. It gave the burgers a nice kick without being too spicy. Topped with a Kraft Deli Deluxe cheese slice, then I topped mine with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, [...]

Four Foods on Friday

I am SO late on this, it’s actually 11:44 pm on Sunday! But I wanted to get this in, so here is this week’s Four Foods on Friday questions, and my answers.

#1. What’s your favorite food smell? The smell of chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven. #2. What’s your favorite kind of apple? [...]

Really easy Shepherd’s Pie

When I tell people that at 41 years old, I am just now learning to cook, they always react incredulously, but it’s true. I’ve been a SAHM for nine years and I can’t honestly tell you what the heck my family has been eating all this time! But I’ve finally started not only looking for [...]

Menu Monday

I’m not feeling well, so I just want to make really easy meals this week. Here’s the plan:
