Seneca Farms sent me the Apple Cinnamon and Vanilla Peach two-packs to review.  I like flavored oatmeal, and I like diced apples and diced peaches, so I was expecting to like the oatmeal, and I definitely do! The Apple Cinnamon has real chunks of apples, the Vanilla Peach has real chunks of peaches, the oats are big and chewy, and both are just delicious.

Each oatmeal and fruit cup has between 160-190 calories, no more than 1.5 grams of fat, 2 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of protein. I admit, I sometimes skip breakfast and just have coffee, but with the oatmeal & fruit cups on hand, I’m much more likely to eat!

Totino’s sent MomCooks two boxes of Pizza Stuffers to try. We received the Cheese and the Pepperoni varieties.  There are four Stuffers in a box, and they can be heated either in the microwave or baked in the oven.  We decided to microwave one of each variety and bake the rest.

The Cheese variety was good, but there was a sweetness to the filling that left us definitely preferring the Pepperoni, which was nicely spicy.  We were surprised that the two Stuffers we microwaved had a nice chewiness, not the sogginess we expected. But out of the oven the crust was flaky around the edges and it had risen higher than in the microwave. The photo below shows one out of the microwave:

So, MomCooks recommends Totino’s Pizza Stuffers Pepperoni, baked in the oven. My kids said they would like them once in a while for an after school snack. The Peanut Butter bars have six grams of fat and the Chocolate chip have five grams of fat. Both varieties have ten grams of sugar and two grams of protein.

So, how do they taste? Pretty good!  We definitely preferred the chocolate chip over the peanut butter;  in my opinion, the peanut butter bars didn’t have a very strong peanut taste. I eat a lot of peanut butter and was hoping for a peanuty, salty taste, but they tasted more like traditional granola bars to me.

My kids, on the other hand, were happy to eat both varieties, I was lucky I got one of each to taste! While I think of these more as a treat than as a regular snack, I would buy them again for lunches or snacks, especially if I found a coupon for them or they were on sale.
